Microsoft Employees Disrupt Wii U Best Buy EventsRemember how Nintendo was showcasing some of their E3 games at participating Best Buy stores around the country? Well, apparently Microsoft employees have been hired to go to these events and preach about the Xbox One and make comments like "why would you buy a outdated Wii U when the Xbox One is right around the corner?"
However, the employees aren't getting what they hoped for. Most customers just start bashing the Xbox One in response. Seriously, Microsoft, the people attending these Best Buy Wii U events are people who are intimately familiar with the crap you pulled at E3. They ain't takin' your shit.
At first I thought this might just be a case of one really loyal Microsoft employee taking matters into his own hands (especially since the original source was /v/), but reports have come in from numerous Best Buy's around the country that indicate many Microsoft employees have ambushed the demo lines trying to persuade people to switch to the Xbox One.

There are two ways to write a novel. Plotting (you make an outline, a plan, a roadmap if you will, and then you sit down and write it) and pantsing (you write "by the seat of your pants, throwing caution to the wind). So when I get asked if I'm a plotter or a pantser, I'm all like er, uh, hold on, let me? Pantser? I think? But I kind of, um, do planny things?
And it gets kind of awkward because in these inarticulate moments I have managed to confuse everyone including myself. And probably spilled a drink.
In recent discussions, however, I've had a bit of a revelation, silly as it is. I've realized that I -- like many writers -- am a plotter/pantser hybrid. And perhaps what I'm doing is something we could call Pantsing Responsibly. And, maybe, just maybe, I could share some of my responsible pantsing tips with other writers. Starting with paper notebooks.

The Used Game ParadigmOver the course of this past generation I've been watching the video game market react to the way it's been forced to deal with increasing changes. I've come out against used game sales and even written a journal about boycotting GameStop because (like most people at the time) I believed they were the root cause of all the problems the video game industry has. But that's something I don't believe now as intently as i did then. From where I sit, piracy and used games sales are a problem, but not in the way game companies want us to believe that they are.
Used games are a good thing for consumers. We get to try games out, and if we don't like what we see or finish it early, we trade it in and try another title instead. It's a very good system for us since video game rentals are much harder to come by. Most video rental stores in America have gone extinct and outside specific Red Box Kiosks there aren't a lot of places for consumers to rent video games. The exception, of course, being thr

SPIKE updatesJust thought I'd share with you guys some updates on the progress of finishing my "SPIKE" novel.

Hey guys! How are you?

I really need money for my study. I think I'm gonna stop studyin architecture 'cause it's just.. not for me.
Even I'm in 2nd year.. I don't have this motivation anymore and I am late with all the works.
My father doesn't know already about this, I'm afraid.. I hope he'll understand me ..

I feel so guilty for what they paid
so I just want to earn some money ...

I really think to study illustration
well..I dont know ... Im kinda lost...whatever.

So tell me if you're interested,

Im going to start commission in summer, so it's gonna be 10$ for a picture like this [link] or this [link] with a simple background. If you're more interested for another style of drawing in my gallery, just tell me and I'll see what can I do with.

I'll draw original characters, fanarts or a real person (yourself, your sister,...Idk ^^) that I can draw it in my style.

Yeah I really want to ! But my dad didn't say a thing..he wass all calm and then he said I want good result in these final exams to my sister and I. Argh ..

I don't knowwhat to do but there's a lot of lesson I hate ! And the teacher never likewhat I do and I try my best and still...I dont understand wha they really want you know...
I don't want to spend my life at doing something I don't like. Yeah I chose to study architecture..this was my choice, but I realised it's not for me. I thought that I can do arcchitecture and with that I can draw ... but now I knowthat I don't have time formyself to draw and I don't like it, I always want to draw..even in lessons there always some little drawings on the side of the paper...
I just want to draw everytime, all the time! I feel so lost I really dont know what to do, I cry often because of this..
My parents thinksthat drawing isnot a job, but just a hobby..I know that maybe Ill don't find a good well paid job but I know that I'll be happy with it, they just don't understand...or it's me Im to naiv I don't know

My mom thinks the same way, she thinks art isn't a career choice... when I was little I wanted to be a Disney animator but she convinced me to become a doctor instead, and I'm happy doing that too but I will always feel a little regret... like when I see my old friends who went to art school, I can't help feel a little jealous. So I don't know, but I think you should do what makes you happy, or at least try, or else you will always regret it. And your parents want you to be happy in the end. And you really tried your best at architecture, so you can't blame yourself. I think you're doing the right thing, you don't want to continue on a path where you don't feel like yourself and aren't passionate, it's a waste of your potential... You have so much talent, you should be happy and passionate about whatever you choose to do.. Sorry I'm not much help, but good luck and I'm always here for you

I'm sure your family will understand as it is your passion. So maybe even if you go to study something like graphic design so there are a broad range of jobs afterwards.
